General Business and Trade Insurance Packages
Fire
Covers you for Damage caused by Fire and other perils to property whilst at the situation. This involves property for which you are legally responsible for which includes the actual building, outbuildings, annexes and gangways, as well as anything permanently fixed to the premises (pipes, wires, built in air conditioners).
Broadform Liability
Will indemnify You against Public Liability and/or Products Liability. Public Liability is your liability to pay damages for an Occurrence in the course of Your Business, but excludes Products Liability. Products Liability is Your legal liability to pay damages for an Occurrence caused by an Unknown Defect in Your Products, but excludes Public Liability.
Professional Indemnity
Provides cover for an error or an ommission by a business providing advice.
Theft
Provides cover for items, or limits previously specified in the schedule for theft or attempted theft of items outside or during business hours.
Business Interruption
Indemnifies You if the Business carried on by You is interrupted or interfered with and as a result, can not properly or fully function for a period of time. The cover will indemnify You (to a calculated limit) with respect to Gross Profit, Payroll, Increased Cost of Working, Reinstatement of Documents, Book Debts, Gross Rentals, Weekly Income and Accountants' Fees.
Machinery Breakdown
Covers your working machinery for sudden and unforseen and unexpected physical damage which requires repair or replacement to enable normal work to continue. Machinery is defined as electric, electronic, mechanical or hydraulic machinery belonging to You. This policy also covers you for Cold Chambers, Deterioration of Stock, Mobile Machinery and Pressure Equipment.
Management Liability
Management Liability packages specialize in cover for private companies, not for profits and associations. We offer a selection of insurance covers depending on your circumstances. Covers can include protection against, wrongful act, employment practices, wrongful dismissal and general protection for office bearers relating to their duties as a director or officer of a company or organisation.
General Property
Provides cover for You against destruction, loss or damage to the property described in the schedule, whilst at the situation, caused by any event stated in the schedule.
Glass
Will indemnify You in the event or Breakage of the Glass at the premises. This can be broken into two sections, internal and external glass and signage.
Electronic Equipment
Covers your electronic equipment such as Laptops and computer systems for one of two covers - Basic Cover covers loss due to a sudden and accidental break down of an item of insured property whilst Accidental Damage cover covers loss or damage to items of insured property from any cause (other than those which are specifically excluded).
Money
Provides cover for a specified amount for theft during business hours, outside business hours (in a locked safe), in transit or in private residence.
Employee Dishonesty
Indemnifies you for loss to a certain limit as a result of employee theft of money, negotiable instruments or goods which belong to You or for which You are liable.
Personal Accident
Provides cover for an Insured in the event of an Accident, for amounts nominated in the schedule. This covers an Insured for Earnings they would have normally received had they not been involved in an accident for a period of up to two years.
Vehicles
Covers your vehicle for loss and or damage and Your liability to a Third Party following an accident
Industrial Special Risks
Designed for businesses where total assets, such as building and contents have a value exceeding $2 million. The sections of this policy are very similar to that of a normal business insurance policy but with higher limits and sums insured.
